Mycelial System and Maslow’s Hierarchy

Chakras are an old system but still very real and help with certain truths about ourselves, but the reality is we’re moving away from the chakra system into a system that is reflected through the science of artificial intelligence and the internet, which is a nodal network or mycelial system.

There are seven basic chakras that run up and down our spines that connect us to the Earth and to the Divine. You can see more information in a previous post on this energetic system. But there is another system that is also known and I’ve heard it described in two ways. The first is from Donna Eden, a well-respected energy healer. Her books, Body Medicine and Body Medicine for Women, describe it as a “basic grid,” which she can see intuitively when she works with people to clear energetic blockages. This system is foundational and keeps us in tune and rhythm to our own ways of being.

The other way it is described is a mycelial system which we will be calling it for the rest of this post.

The mycelium network that we know is often in plant form and is identified as a system of roots that share resources with other plants and can act as a communication network, too. Now you know how the world wide web, or internet, is mirroring this type of energy system. When we log onto a computer and share space on the internet, we see how it transports the belief that we are all interconnected. Connecting to each other’s social media accounts, websites and other types of online presence, effectively moves our energy towards that person.

My book, Creativity for Soul Healing, describes it this way: “The chakra energies are connected through the mycelial system or ‘basic grid.’ Like a web that intersects with nodal points, the mycelial grid is an energetic system that moves energy throughout the energy body. Remember, this is all energetic, not biological or physical, but they impact the physical body because it’s all connected through the force of our being on Earth.”

“The network effect of our lives is an incontrovertible truth as we all live in different collectives including the business or work network which helps us visualize how it connects to the chakras and takes on different aspects of our creative energy.” (pp. 25-26)

Because of this type of energy, our daily needs move in and out of the web pattern without a set hierarchy. This type of movement makes Maslow’s ‘Pyramid of Basic Needs’ null and void. The leveled approach keeps people in the same-old, same-old mind set and doesn't allow for the network effect that moves us in and out of all five steps daily, yearly and until we’re old.

The mycelium network shows how the internet and artificial intelligence breaks down the hierarchy and creates an all for one, one for all type network. We each connect to each other and are further connected to others by the other person’s connections. It gets dizzying which is maybe why some of us feel swirly when we get too involved in other people’s day dreams or like being on social media for too long.
